Woyzeck/Wozzeck

    In my opinion, Georg Buchner's expressionist play Woyzeck is very tragic. I think that everything that happens in the play is the outcome of what he goes through, for example, his wife cheating on him, his poverty, the criticism he gets from other people, and so on. I also believe that he might had some hallucinations that had to do with what happens in the play.

On the other hand, I didn’t like very much Wozzeck’s opera, because I find it quite boring, but I’m positive it is a very expressionistic piece of music, and I’m sure If I didn’t find opera boring I’d definitely like Wozzeck’s work.
